:: Trip to Serikin, Sarawak, Malaysia-Indonesia Border ::

Okay guys...This trip to this place very easy if you from Kuching. I don't know if you wanna use public transport, may be can hire a taxi. The price absolutely don't know.The distance can check via google maps. The best spot along the way to Serikin is normal..just a little bit extraordinary can see. Btw, around 1 hour drive can reach Serikin. But shall to Bau town first. Near this town, better to Tasik Biru (Blue Lake) to read a history of this lake. Then to a temple inside a cave. Then make a stop to take photo of a dinosour T-rex from Sarawak mountain...In Serikin, it is a small village at Malaysia-Indonesia border. Most of the sellers are  Indonesian and the goods also from Indonesia. Very cheap if compared to Kuching and semenanjung. Don't worry, here got police station & custom & immigration office.

:: Trip To Kuching, Sarawak ::

From Serian, the journey took 1 hour to reach Kuching town. When reached Samarahan district, now the roads become 2 lanes and could moving faster. Along the way, i snapped photos when i think it is useful or else...

The first thing when reached Kuching is to check-in Hotel that we've booked yesterday. Grand Margherita Hotel was a priority. It was located beside the river (sungai santubong) and in front of the tugu kuching (cat statue) which was a landmark of Kuching Town. Here we found plenty of things can do too...most of the tourist been here if in Kuching.

  

Tonite, we have dinner at Heritage Steamboat near Satok. Luckily meet some friends there...lol

Next day, we went to Mira cake House, the famous layer cake (Kek Lapis) in Kuching. From this hotel, just go to the jetty then shouting to boatman...then he goes to you for boat rides. Rm0.50/person only to cross the river...

Then return to the car and proceed to Kubah Ria Market. Pasar Satok is no more! Ikan Terubok Masin is compulsory here...please support U.I.T.M..not Universiti Teknologi Mara...but Usahawan Ikan Terubok Masin.

Ok ...Bye...Next is Trip to Serikin..
